Description
The project consists of, but is not limited to the contractor to furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to complete installation of a Manhole/Duct system for a fiber optic communication network system comprised of conduit, manhole, and conduit entries into various buildings in strict accordance with the Technical Provisions and drawings for projects EGYN960107 on Cavalier AS, North Dakota. This work also includes trenching ductwork, roadway cutting and patching, grading, concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk replacement and landscaping repairs. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract with a magnitude of between $250,00 and $500,000. The performance period will be 120 days from the notice to proceed. Bid, performance, and payment bonds will be required. The Government is considering whether or not to set aside this acquisition for HUB ZONE concerns. If you are a HUB Zone firm interested in this project and reasonably expect to submit a proposal, request you respond by e-mail to DavidGoff@grandforks.af.mil not later than 15 April 2002. Your response must include a positive response statement of your bonding capability, list of similar jobs involving airfield pavement and drainage system repair type work within the last three years. Your firm must also include references and all contracts now in progress. Your response must be complete and include this information; otherwise the government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected. If you do not respond by this date, we will assume you are not interested in this project. Depending on response from HUB ZONE concerns, this acquisition will be either a HUBZONE set-aside or an unrestricted acquisition. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offer eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. We anticipate an issuance date of 22 April 2002. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23492, The Standard Industry Code (SIC) is 1623. The size standard for this acquisition will be $28.5 million The entire solicitation, including the specifications and drawings will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website at http://www.eps.gov. Following the links on the EPS can access the solicitation website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, and 319CONS. Paper copies will not be available. All contractors MUST certify by stating that they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration database or their proposal will not be considered for award.
