- Description
- The previously issued Pre-Solicitation Notice is amended to read as follows: Provide elevator maintenance and repair services at the E. Barrett Prettyman, United States Court House, 333 Constitution Avenue, NW; The National Courts Complex, 717 Madison Place, NW; and the United States Tax Court, 400 2nd Street, NW, Washington, DC. The contractor shall perform maintenance services during each inspection to ensure reliable and continuous safe operation. The maintenance work shall be in accordance with commercial practices or manufacturer's specifications, if available, and shall be intended to maintain the elevators in safe and reliable operating condition until the next scheduled maintenance. One contract will be awarded from this solicitation. The period of performance for this contract is for a base period of one year with four- one year options. The total performance period will not exceed five years. Services are expected to commence on or about October 1, 2002. Procurement made using FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 9.104-2, Special Standard methods for award. The NAICS Code is 235950. The solicitation will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (Fed Biz Opps) website at http://www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation as well as all amendments will not be issued. Any prospective offeror interested in proposing on this solicitation. Include your company name, address, telephone and fax numbers, points of contact, and e-mail address. You must send this information by email to Meta.Edwards@gsa.gov. Telephone requests will not be honored. Solicitation will be issued or about June 26, 2002. Proposals are due by July 26, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. local time. A pre proposal conference shall be held at the General Services Administration, Regional Office Building Auditorium, 301 7th Street, SW, Washington, DC. The date and time shall be listed in Section L of the solicitation. Offers are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-proposal conference.
