- FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire, on a full and open competitive basis, Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) services in support of the Naval Air Depot Jacksonville, FL. The services required by the resultant contract shall be performed at the Naval Air Depot, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL and shall include, but are not limited to, modernization, conversion, in-service repair, disassembly, and other categories of aircraft depot level maintenance encompassing such trade specialties as: sheet metal, electrical, plastic (fiberglass), engine artisan, machinist, welder, foundry molder, sandblaster, equipment cleaner, oxygen equipment, rubber equipment repairer, pneudraulic/hydraulic systems, composite fabricator, electronic integrated systems, electroplater, and aircraft/component painter. An indefinite quantity, labor hour contract is anticipated with a base period of performance commencing on or about 01 October 2002 and ending on 30 September 2003. The contract will also provide for four (4) one-year option provisions to extend the term of the contract through 2007. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will require the submission of technical and cost/price proposals. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 488190; size standard $5M. The solicitation will require the submission of cost/price and technical proposals. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release at www.neco.navy.mil. Paper copies, faxed copies, or email copies of the solicitation will not be provided.
