- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price order under a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with the Northrop Grumman Corporation under NAVAIR BOA N00019-00-G-0425 to analyze and assess the modifications required to the EA-6B Block 89A configured aircraft to facilitate the installation of an F-14 ASW-59 derivative Digital Flight Control System (DFCS). This effort is for the risk reduction phase of the program. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the designer, developer, sole manufacturer, and systems integrator for the EA-6B aircraft and as such is the only firm with the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to fulfill these requirements.
