- NA DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a notice of sole source intent by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, to increase the monetary limitation of Contract DACA01-97-D-0023 from $2,500,000.00 to $2,600,000.00 to cover several within scope change ord ers to various on-going task orders. This Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract was awarded on 6 June 1997 to Four Seasons Environmental, Inc., Atlanta, GA. The contract was awarded for a base year with four one-year options and is in the fourt h option year. This notice is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list. It is in the best interest of the government to use the incumbent contractor, Four Seasons Environmental, Inc., for modifications to on-going task orders so that exis ting contract actions may be fully coordinated by the prime contractor to ensure contract execution of complete and usable facilities inclusive of warranty support. This action will preclude disruption of work in progress, and extension of completion sched ules. It will also alleviate the cost of mobilizing an additional contractor and avoid any conflicts resulting from the actions of multiple contractors working on the same project in the same area of work. This notice is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, f or Other Than Full & Open Competition.
