- 17. Description: Services, Non-Personal, Repair: The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the repair, test, packing and packaging and return to the government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the line items of Air Force equipment listed below. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated for One Year, plus Nine (9) One-year Options. The items and estimated quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN 6610-01-163-6927, P/N: 501-1393-01, Noun: Attitude Director Indicator. Application: E-3A Aircraft. Qty: Basic Year ? 25 each, Option I ? 23 each, Option II ? 24 each, Option III ? 23 each, Option IV ? 25 each , Option V ? 25 each, Option VI ? 25 each, Option VII ? 25 each, Option VIII ? 25 each, and Option IX ? 25 each. Deliveries are to be at a rate of 2 each per 30 day period after receipt of funded order and reparable equipment, whichever is later. CLIN 0002: Over and Above as required. CLIN 0003: Data and Reports IAW DD Form 1423 This solicitation is to obtain requirements type repair contract with 100% contractor furnished material. The approximate Response Date will be 31 May 2002. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Reply Fax Number is (405)739-4417, Attention Jim McNeill. NOTES: 22.The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. 23. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
