- Description
- The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/ Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), Building 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500 intends to procure two APCOM 5016 MPC-1 Multi-Purpose Chasses, two PS-1 Power Supplies, four Model 5016 IDA-IX4 Instrumentation Distribution Amplifiers, ten 5016 1X6 (WB) Video Distribution Amplifiers, and eighteen Model 5016 BP-1 Blank Panels. The requested hardware is required as a component of an Intelligence Community standard ELINT analysis laboratory configuration called the Digital ELINT Laboratory (DEL). It is much more cost effective for MSIC to implement this standard DEL configuration rather than incur the additional expenses required to design and develop an alternative system. Also, MSIC's equipment must be compatible with existing hardware in the MSIC Signals Analysis Laboratory. Therefore, for maintenance and interoperability reasons, the requested units must be the same models as those APCOM distribution amplifiers already being used in the MSIC signal analysis laboratory. The specifications of the distribution amplifiers required by the MSIC Signals Analysis Laboratory are as follows: Video Distribution Amplifier Specifications: Number of Inputs per Amplifier: One Type of Input Connector: BNC Number of Outputs per Amplifier: Six Type of Output Connectors: BNC Frequency Response: DC to 40 MHz + or - 1.5 dB Nominal Input Level: 1 Vrms Signal Port Impedance: 50 Ohms Signal Port Return Loss: DC to 40MHz > 10 dB Output-to-Output Isolation: DC to 40 MHz > 30 dB Linearity: + 0.5% best straight line Crosstalk: DC to 40MHz > 60 dB Output Signal Level: 1Vrms Signal Indicators: Over Voltage and Signal Present Instrumentation Distribution Amplifier Specifications: Number of Inputs per Amplifier: One Type of Input Connector: BNC Number of Outputs per Amplifier: Four Type of Output Connectors: BNC Frequency Response: DC to 100 kHz + or - 1.0 dB Input Signal Level: 8 Vpp Signal Port Impedance: 600 Ohms Output-to-Output Isolation: > 30 dB for DC to 40 MHz Crosstalk Isolation: > 70 dB Output Signal Level: 8 Vpp Ohm Nominal Signal Indicators: Over Voltage Please notice that the specifications are based on the specifications of the APCOM equipment. All offerors must meet or exceed these specifications in order to be considered. The period of performance shall be completed by June 1, 2002. No solicitations shall be issued other than this notice.
