Description
Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire services to Move 88 people in 4 phases. The moves will be made on April 13, 17, 20, and 27 2002. People and their files, computers, chairs, office equipment and some desks will be moved from Building 312 to buildings 410 and 310 first and second floor. The requirement shall be set-aside for small business. Request for Quotation (RFQ) N00140-02-Q-G708 contemplates a firm fixed price contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 484210. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-03. It is requested that qualified sources are capable of providing the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): CLIN 0001 ? Services in Support of the movement of 88 people as detailed in the below statement of work. The following is the Statement of Work: This statement of work describes a set of taskings within the NAVICP initiative called ?Building Consolidation.? The requirement is to evacuate the north firebay of Building 312 in order to permit renovation to proceed in the empty spaces. A number of people and their files, computers, chairs, office equipment and some desks will be moved from Building 312 to buildings 410 and 310 first and second floor. A total of approximately 88 people will be moved. The moves will be made on April 13, 17, 20, and 27 2002. The work hours will be available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. In performance of this contract, the contractor shall perform the following tasks: (1) Move 88 people (10-20 boxes each) in 4 phases. The government shall provide boxes. Cardboard move boxes are 3 cubic feet, 20x16x16. (2) Move 105 computers/printers in 4 phases. (3) Move 110 chairs. (4) Move 100 pieces of miscellaneous furniture (tables, safes, coat racks, refrigerators, managerial desks, credenzas, bookcases, file cabinets, reader printers, surge protectors, fans, chair mats, trash cans, bulletin boards, white boards, etc.) in 4 phases. (5) Move 15 lateral or vertical files (storage units for files or binders, each 84 inches tall and weighing approximately 280 lbs.) in 4 phases. The contractor shall reimburse the government for the cost of replacing files, furniture or equipment damaged during moving. Other than move boxes, the contractor shall provide all necessary tools and equipment to accomplish the move. The government will move telephones and copiers. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3 and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
