- NA This is a notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Dycor Technologies, 17944-106A Avenue, Edmonton, AB Canada for nonpersonnal services to provide a Biological Detection System includes the following components: TSI?s Ultraviolet Aerodyna mic Particle Sizer (FL/APS 3312A), SMS/2A Aerosol Concentrator, Automated temperature control and air conditioning, Radio Modem Link to a host computer, and weather proof, shock absorbent enclosure. The Biological Detection System measures aerodynamic dia meter, light scattering intensity, and fluorescence intensity. Three aerosol parameters per particle provide the most comprehensive profile of ambient aerosols available from any one instrument. The UV-APS measures all three parameters in real time. The refore, it provides extremely rapid measurements of aerodynamic size and scattered light for particles from 0.5 to 15 micrometers. In addition, Dycor will also provide the software (CBNET-TDS) to maximize the use of FL/APS, and on-site training. CDNET-TDS is a software program designed for use in research and development, and test environments. It collects data in real-time from FL/APS, detects the presence of Biological particles, presents the data to an operator, and provides audible and visual alarms.
