Description

NA The project involves constructing riprap at five areas along the interface of Columbia River with Interstate Highway 84 where wind caused wave action is causing bank erosion that threatens the highway. The five sites are located between Corbett and Rooster Rock near Portland, Oregon. The sponsor of the project is the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). Root wads and willow planting will be incorporated in the riprap protection and scallops or fingers of extra stone will be placed at the base of the protection to create an undulating effect. This procurement is unrestricted and open to both small and large businesses. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Solicitation No. DACW57-02-B-0005 will be issued on or about 21 May 2002 and bids opened on or about 21 June 2002. Request for bids on-line at https:www.nwp.usace.army.mil.
