Description
NA The North Dakota Air National Guard (NDANG) proposes to enter into a Firm Fixed price contract to construct Replace Weapons Release Shop Complex at the North Dakota Air National Guard, Hector IAP, Fargo, ND. The project consists of furnishing all labor, m aterial, equipment, services, and supplies required to complete the work, which includes, but is not limited to, the following principal items: Construction of the Weapons Release Facility, consisting of a single story building of approximately 20,420 squ are feet for administration functions, training, storage, and maintenance operations associated with aircraft weapons release systems. Construction of an addition to and alteration of the Hangar/Annex Building 217 for an Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) Pod Shop, consisting of a 2,342 s.f. addition and 2,286 s.f. of alterations to the existing building for administration functions, maintenance, repair, and storage of ECM Pods and associated equipment. (Performance Period: 120 days from NTP for this port ion of the work.) Site work consists of clearing, stripping, excavating, grading, filling, backfilling, seeding, sodding, flexible and rigid paving, curb and gutters, concrete walks, underground utilities, site structures, signage and other related work. Building structure consists of spread footings, reinforced concrete foundation walls, concrete block bearing walls, steel bar joist and metal roof deck, a fully adhered EPDM roofing membrane and rigid insulation system. Exterior cavity walls consist of f ace brick and rock faced block units, prefinished metal panels, rigid insulation core and interior concrete block backup, and other related work. Interior finishes include sealed concrete floors, carpeting, vinyl composition tile, porcelain tile, glazed m asonry units, burnished block units, dry wall systems, paint, acoustic tile ceiling and other related items. Equipment includes bridge cranes and other related work. Mechanical work includes heating, ventilating and air conditioning, plumbing, building d rainage, fire protection systems, and other related work. Electrical work includes primary and secondary power distribution systems, interior and exterior lighting, power and controllers for mechanical systems, fire alarm system, voice data and paging com munications systems, fiber optic cable from Building 218 to new facility and other related work. Selective demolition (general, mechanical and electrical work) at Building 217A. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The per formance period for the Weapons Release Facility is 365 Calendar Days. There will be a separate Notice to Proceed and performance period (120 Days) for the ECM Pod shop but will remain within the actual construction period established for the Weapons Rele ase Facility. This project will be issued unrestricted in accordance with the ?Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program? as stated in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19. Award decision will be based on price, contractors past perfor mance and technical ability. Past performance factors when combined with technical ability are approximately equal to price.
