- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format described in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), F19650-02-T-0018. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-05 dated 07 March 2002. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334290 and the small business size standard is <750 employees. Note that this project is not currently funded. We anticipate funding for this project in the near future. The work covered in this solicitation consists of furnishing all labor, planning, materials, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to perform all operations in connection with the replacement of the EST 5900 fire alarm panel and all its associated devices that cannot be used in association with the installation of a new conventional analog FCI 72 fire alarm system.
