- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to inspect and repair five (5) each Rudders w/stocks, P/N 562-001-1, Stock Number 2040-01-223-2674, used onboard the 110? class Coast Guard vessel. The Rudders shall be inspected and repaired in accordance with Coast Guard specifications and Coast Guard Drawing Number 110 WPB 562-001, sheets 1, 2, and 4, utilizing HVOF application of tungsten carbide. The rudders were originally manufactured by Bollinger?s Machine Shop & Shipyard. The referenced drawings shall be provided on CD-Rom. Contractor shall be required to provide all labor and materials necessary to accomplish said repairs. Under the resultant award, the Government shall provide a Rudder Lock Nut, Stock Number 5310-01-462-4610, as Government Furnished Property. Interested sources shall be able to access the complete RFQ package on or about 4 April 2002 via FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. The drawings referenced in this Notice shall not be available from this website. Interested sources must fax in a request for copies of the drawings to Kelly Wyatt at (410) 762-6056. The due date established for receipt of quotations shall be no later than 17 April 2002. NO EXTENSIONS SHALL BE GRANTED. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Electronic submission of quotations, via email only, is not acceptable.
