- Description
- Provide materials, equipment, labor, and transportation required to renovate the officer's heads and lockers at USCG Air Station Barbers Point, Kaleloa, HI. Work includes demolition, including lead-containing work and asbestos work, plumbing, ventilation, electrical, installation of gypsum board walls, repair and modifications to ceiling to provide new toilet and locker room arrangements, furnishings and equipment, and replacement of the GSE shop cover with new 1980 square foot pre-engineered rigid frame structure and associated components. All work shall be completed, with property ready for use within 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Only faxed or written requests for bid packages to the contracting officer are acceptable. This notice is for informational purposes for minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
