Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate with The Spencer Group, P.O. Box 393, Trumansburg, NY 14886, for FactSage Thermochemical Software for Windows with ChemApp Thermochemistry Library and spreadsheet for process simulation, this can be accomplished under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. The contractor is the sole United States agent for these proprietary programs. There are no other known sources that could provide this highly specialized software that The Spencer Group can provide. Therefore, award will be made to The Spencer Group unless another contractor indicates their ability to provide such services by April 11, 2002. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price modification for a period of one year.
