- Description
- HVAC Upgrade for the installation of an HVAC system in a two-story, 8,500 sq ft laboratory and office building, constructed in 1960, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This project consists of demolition of existing hydronic heating system; asbestos abatement; installation of a 41.5 ton air-cooled condensing unit; a built-up air handling unit with a 266 MBH heating capacity and 41.5 ton cooling capacity. The system will include 16 variable air volume boxes with reheats and a complete hydronic heating system and 2-4800 cfm relief fans. Provide refrigeration piping, and electrical wiring. Proposed system shall be connected to existing operating system. Also, the replacement of ceiling tile system, light fixtures, and the installation of diffuser cabinets. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held April 29, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. local time, at the Rhinelander Forestry Sciences Laboratory, 5985 Highway K, Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Estimated Price Range: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Twenty (20) percent bid guarantee, 100 percent performance and payment bonds are required. Issue date of solicitation estimated to be 04/12/2002.
