Description: NA It is the intent of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Acquisition Center, Research, Development and Engineering Center, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898, to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Auburn University, 321 Ingram Hall, Auburn, AL 36849, to develop concepts for a curved smart adaptive fin for a small sub-sonic tube launched missile. The smart adaptive fin should include piezo-ceramic accuator(s) internal to the aerodynamic surface of the fin. The smart adaptive fin concept sho uld include an external battery required to power the accuators. All responsible sources may submit an offer. See Note 22.
