- Description
- The U.S. EPA, National Risk Management Research Laboratory, has a requirement for a 13-month software license for process simulator software for a single user, brand name or equal to Aspen Plus?. Equivalent software shall be capable of simulating a chemical process similar to Aspen Plus?. The process simulator software shall be compatible with Icarus Process Evaluator? (IPE) software. Output from the process simulator shall be able to be fed into Icarus IPE so that capital costs and operating costs result automatically. The contractor shall deliver the software, provide technical service and software maintenance including identification and remedy of defects and the provision of upgrades. The contractor shall also provide a standard commercial warranty. The applicable NAICS code is 511210. The acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that a Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on or about 4/10/02. To receive a copy of the RFQ, interested firms must submit a written request to the POC. Requests via fax or e-mail are acceptable. Requests must include a complete mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address.
