- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation's Pacific Northwest Regional Office has a requirement for research proposals to monitor, analyze, and report the effects of removing push-up dams on the survival and production of juvenile mid-Columbia steelhead and the survival and reproductive success of adult mid-Columbia steelhead in the John Day River Basin in Oregon. The research will help fulfill Reclamation's efforts under the National Marine Fishery Service's 2000 FCRPS Biological Opinion, Reasonable and Prudent Alternative Action 183 to document the effectiveness of management actions under Action 149 that are designed to improve fish passage. The contractor will be required to evaluate and report the research under this solicitation at specific benchmarks.
