- Description
- Furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform all work to replace underground high voltage calbes at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center, Togus, Maine. Work to include cable removal, new cable installation, excavation, duct bank installation, and miscellaneous construction. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with plans and specifications. Completion Time: 180 days. A $100.00 refundable deposit is required in the form of a cashiers check or money order made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. All requests for plans and specifications must be in writing to the Contracting Officer (BSL1), Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center, Togus, Maine 04330. Plans and specifications shall be ready on or about 4/9/02. Only one (1) set of bid documents will be issued to each bidder. Bid documents will be available on a first come first serve basis. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on 4/30/02 at 10:00 a.m., local time, in the Engineering Conference Room, 2nd floor, Bldg. 202 at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center, Togus, Maine. Bid Opening will be held on 5/7/02 at 2:00 p.m., local time, in Bldg. 206, 2nd floor, Room 216. All bids must be time and date stamped in Bldg. 206, 2nd floor, Room 201 prior to the 2:00 p.m. bid opening. NAICS code 235310. Construction Cost Range: Between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. NOTE: BID DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE VIA THE WEB. INTERESTED BIDDERS MUST REQUEST PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION.
