Description
Request for Information - The United States Air Force, Air Force Medical Logistics Office, has a requirement for management of first aid and/or specialty survival kits for authorized USAF users in the continental United States, in accordance with Technical Order (TO) 00-35A-39, Instructions for Procurement, Issue, Use and Maintenance of Medical Kits. These kits are issued, inspected and replenished by military medical supply personnel in accordance with TO 00-35A-39. Contract shall management of USAF medical first aid kits. Kit containers will meet the size specification as stated in TO 00-35A-39. Markings will be in accordance with Section/Para 4 of said TO. Color will generally be subdued, non-glossy to ensure concealment in a combat environment. Contractor will provide initial issue, inspection and replenishment of kits upon request of authorized users within 10 days of the request. Contractor will ship complete kits to user via visible in-transit tracking capable shipping service. Upon receipt, authorized USAF users will return the expired kits to contractor who will provide credit for the expired kits and contents as appropriate. Credit for reusable material will be determined in the contractor?s submission to the request for proposal if developed. Contractor will also provide inspection reminder services to users to ensure timely replacement of kits requiring serviceability inspections. Usage reports of this program will be required.
