- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. RFQ02C-15 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. The Library of Congress has a requirement to purchase of 1. Emergency Recovery Team Safety Kits to include 2 survival food packets, pocket first aid kit, 25 anti-bacterial wipes, 84" x 52" silver space blanket, 4 packets of water (5 year shelf life), Tyvek coveralls with hood and boot, pr. Men's black overboot 4 way nonslip - 4" tall, 1 pr. canvas gloves, 1 pr. latex flock-lined gloves, whistle on lanyard, 2 light sticks, yellow water-resistant shoulder bag with flap and zipper closure - (100 each); 2. Rescabes - for freeze-dying materials (6,000 each) and Modified react packs to include remove mop head, mp handle, bucket, deliwrap, flashlight, batteries, dust masks, (add 3 sheets 12" plastic sheeting, 3 sheets 18" plastic sheeting, 3 heavy-duty, extra-large trash bags, 3 large cellulose sponges, anti-bact hand wipes) - (150 each). All items shall be delivered within thirty days After Receipt of Order (ARO). FOB: Destination: Library of Congress/Receiving Unit, Landover Center Annex, 1707 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The following provisions apply to this acquisition; 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Item, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Item, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Item, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, 52.212.2 Evaluation - Commercial Item. Under this clause the following clauses have been modified by the Library of Congress; 52.233-1 Disputes; 52.232-25 Prompt Payment.
