Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N65538-02-Q-0076, and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-05. The associated NAICS code is 421430. Line item 0001 is as follows: The procurement is for StudioX with PAS4 autoloader 120 disc autoloader with 4 CD Writers and thermal printer. One year maintenance and Tech Support. Trade in Legacy Studio with Legacy PAS Jr. autoloader. The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offeror will include a completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. Clauses FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer, Central Contractor Registration, DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration apply to this solicitation. Offers are due on 22 Mar 2002, to the Naval Sea Logistics Center (Code N02), 5450 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, by 4:00pm, Eastern Standard Time.
