Description

NA This proposed procurement is unrestricted, SIC 1629/NAICS 234990, small business size standard $28.5 million. Estimated cost of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Completion no later than 273 calendar days. Work includes stabilizing approximately 1,500 feet of stream bank. This will be done using a dumped stone toe approximately 7 feet high (height of floodplain) along the streambank for approximately two thirds of the project, at the lower and upper ends. This berm abutting the str eambank may be used as an access road. Through the middle third of the project area, the berm will diverge from the streambank and run approximately along the exposed sewer line. Throughout this area, there will be a dug toe area of riprap for sewer line protection and stone tiebacks spaced approximately 75 feet apart. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders . The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a f ederal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/ subcontractors. Issuance on or about 3 June 2002, bid opening date on or about 3 July 2001.
