Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested an d a written solicitation will not be issued, and is being issued as a request for quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-05. CLIN 0001 will be issued for one lot consisting of Item 1 - part number TC19TLW 19 Tubes wrapped with water blocking tape and Polyethylene LAP Jacket. Each tube will house 19 individual fibers, cable length marked every two feet, 1.8 inch diameter, 3 rolls at 1700 feet continuous run per roll. Item 2 - part number TC19TLW 19 Tubes wrapped with water blocking tape and Polyethylene LAP Jacket. Each tube will house 19 individual fibers, cable length marked every two feet, 1.8 inch diameter, 1 roll at 1825 feet continuous run per roll. Ite m 3 - part number TC07TLW 7 Tubes wrapped with water blocking tape and Polyethylene LAP Jacket. Each tube will house 7 individual fibers, cable length marked every two feet, 1.3 inch diameter, 1 roll at 3000 feet continuous run per roll. Item 4 - part nu mber TC07TLW 7 Tubes wrapped with water blocking tape and Polyethylene LAP Jacket. Each tube will house 7 individual fibers, cable length marked every two feet, 1.3 inch diameter, 1 roll at 2500 feet continuous run per roll. Item 5 - part number FB18SX6, 18 strand single mode, quantity: 1 at 2500 feet continuous unbroken length. Item 6 - part number FB18SX6, 18 strand single mode, quantity: 1 at 4000 feet continuous unbroken length. Item 7 - part number FB18SX6, 18 strand single mode, quantity: 1 at 525 0 feet continuous unbroken length. Item 8 - part number FB18SX6, 18 strand single mode, quantity: 1 at 7000 feet continuous unbroken length. Item 9 - part number FB06SX6, 6 strand single mode, quantity 1 at 8750 feet continuous unbroken length. Item 10 - part number FB12SX6, 12 strand single mode, quantity 1 at 7000 feet continuous unbroken length. Item 11 - part number FB12SX6, 12 strand single mode, quantity 1 at 3500 feet continuous unbroken length. Item 12 - part number FB06M6, 6 strand multi-mode, quantity 1 at 2500 feet continuous unbroken length. Item 13 - part number FB06M6, 6 strand multi-mode, quantity 1 at 4000 feet continuous unbroken length. Item 14 - part number FB06M6, 6 strand multi-mode, quantity 1 at 5250 feet continuous unbroken len gth. Item 15 - part number FB06M6, 6 strand multi-mode, quantity 1 at 7000 feet continuous unbroken length. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. Include delivery date in quote. The place of delivery, acc eptance and FOB point is RASA Central Receiving, Building 8022, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, marked for the attention of Charles R. Gibbs, CSTE-DTC-RT-F-FL. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquistion Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Clause 52.212-3, Offer or Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, are appli cable to this acquisition. Offer is due not later than 12:00 noon, local time, March 31, 2002 in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B139, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Quotes/offers received after the specified due date will not be considered for a ward. Quotes transmitted by facsimile or electronic means are encouraged.
