Description

NA The proposed contract will include a 200 percent option for the first year following the completion of the original contract and an additional 200 percent option for the second year following the original contract. This requirement is for M198 Howitzer Im provement Program Enhancement (HIPE). The items are source control from Shock Tech (0LRN7), 360 Route 59, Monsey, NY 10952-3413, composed of a cable: 0.287 Stainless Steel and Retainer Bars; composed of Aluminum Alloy, Chrome Treated. Natural Frequency: 7 - 10 HZ, Transmitability at resonance: 3.5. Requirements are: 591 each, Shock, Mount, 591 each, Shock, Mount, 788 each, Shock, Mount and 788 each, Shock, Mount. All orders against the resulting contract will be FOB destination. Estimated issue date is May 15, 2002. Proposed contract is 100% Small Business set aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a)(7) and 14.205-1 (c) therefore hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
