- Description
- This acquisition is for a requirement contract for a one year base period plus four, one year option periods. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials (except Government- Furnished materials) for the execution of painting and protective coatings; pavement markings applicable to existing parking lots (excluding aircraft runways, taxiways, and or aprons); and exterior signage for Project No. PQWY 03-1013 entitled IDC Protective Coatings at McChord AFB Washington. The applicable NAICS Code is 23521 with a small business standard size of 12 Million. The magnitude of construction for the base year as well as each option year is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The aggregate magnitude for all years is between $1,000,000 and 5,000,000. In conformance with Far 19.1300 this acquisition is being considered for Hub zone set-aside. If your firm is Hub zone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than ten (10) days after this publication: 1) SBA certification of Hub zone eligibility, 2) Capability statement of your firm and 3) a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on response, the Contracting Officer will make a determination; if there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition, the acquisition will be conducted under full and open competition procedures. The solicitation will be available for download from the Internet by accessing the government-wide Electronic Posting System website at http://www.eps.gov. Issuance of the solicitation will be on or about 25 Apr 02 with the closing date for receipt of proposals on or about 28 May 02.
