- Description: Electric continous feedthru, part number: 117249-2, 2 rolls (10,000 feet per roll). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Material in accordance with specification control drawing: 223416-003. Military specifications are as follows: MIL-G-45204, MIL-C-39029, MIL-C-55330, MIL-STD-130. Federal specification QQ-N-290. Industry standard ASTM B122. Material: UNS Copper alloy C72500 (contact), underplate nickel 0.00010" min (contact finish), gold plate 0.000050" min (contact finish). Environmental specification MIL-C-39029. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. See Note 22 - Sole Source Note. The proposed contrct action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitve proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The following clauses are applicable to subjet solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation-Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items), and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items). In accordance with clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: price and price related factors. Quotations may be faxed to (478) 926-2652. The anticipated award date will be April 15, 2002.
