Description
Provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to upgrade the air conditioning in the communications center and also install isolation valves on existing chilled and hot water piping. All work to be performed at USCG Air Station Atlantic City, NJ. The work is defined as follows: Basic Bid Item 0001: Provide material and services to upgrade A/C systems in the following 3 rooms: OPS Center, COMM Center (Radio Room) and Tel/Server room by installing down flow computer room type A/C units with condenser/dry coolers on roof, and related modificatgions to the existing HVAC system. Provide new electrical power, electrical panels and piping for complete installation of new A/C systems. Basic Work Item 0002: Provide material and services to install isolation valves on existing chilled and hot water piping system. Unit Work Item 0001: Provide for work crew down time due to Coast Guard emergency operations which could be required by a severe storm requiring search and rescue. Based on 7 days of down time during the construction period.The period of performance is 126 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 and is open to both small and large businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code for this procurement is 235110. Due dates for bids will be not less than 30 days after bid issuance. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS.
