- Description
- This solicitation is to provided services and construction that include but are not limited to: Various road maintenance projects, including brushing, blading, culvert and cattleguard cleaning and slough removal; Stream restoration (placing and anchoring large woody material in stream, placing rip rap to stabilize banks or to prevent head cutting, weir construction, etc.); Site clearing and excavation for vault toilet construction; Campground reconstruction; Incidental fence construction; Campground restoration (removal of existing structures, excavation, soil de-compaction); Concrete Placement (quantities not exceeding 10 cy, including forming and finishing) Bituminous concrete pavements (hauling and placing, tack coats, hot mix skin patching, pot hole cold patching, crack sealing, etc.); Structural Embankments and Buttresses; Cattleguard installation; Stock pond cleaning and restoration. The resulting contracts from this solicitation will be multiple awards, for 3 years in duration. The engineers estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 for the construction projects. Projects are located on various locations across the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. The solicitation will be available electronically on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov or you may request hard copy from the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest contracting section at 541-523-1209. Desired start work date is May 24, 2002
