- Description
- The U. S. Postal Service hereby solicits fixed price proposals for the transporting of mail by air between the points as listed in Part 1, Exhibit B.1, Segment Service Requirements. Each origin and destination pair described in Exhibit B.1 constitutes a segment. Dispatches will consist of at least 750 pounds (340 kilograms) per flight containing parcels and no more than five (5) percent letter mail, based on weight. This is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract type and a negotiated commercial procurement that will be conducted in accordance with the USPS Purchasing Manual. This solicitation anticipates multiple awards per segment. The term of service for contracts awarded under this solicitation will begin on Tuesday May 28, 2002 and end at 2359 EST on Friday, November 29, 2002.
