- NA Please make the following changes: 1. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number has been changed from DACA05-02-Q-0035 to DACA05-02-Q-0036. 2. Change the synopsis to the following: Sources Sought/Notice of Intent to Negotiate With One Source. The proposed contract action is for A/E Services, to review infrastructure system at DDJC, Tracy, CA, and revise as required in preparation for the new warehouse that is being designed and cons tructed. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the infrastructure review with Stantec Consulting, Inc., Sacramento, CA. The firm, Stantec Consulting, Inc. has been actively involved in the initial preliminary engineering effort at the DDJC, Tra cy, CA, and the effort being tasked now is a follow-on contract for continued provision of highly specialized A/E services. A substantial duplication of cost to the Government, which would not likely be recovered through competition, and unacceptable dela ys in fulfilling the Corps requirements would likely result if Stantec did not provide the follow-on services. This is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. The Government will consider responses received within 7 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Any respondent must be able to substantiate any claim of possessing the requisite knowledge and background information of the project which may permit award to other than Stantec Consulting Inc. A determination by the Govern ment not to compete this proposed contract is within the discretion of the Government. This Procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 8712, NAICS code: 54130. The size standard for these codes is $4,000,000.00. Type Of Award: This RFQ is a Sole Source, FAR 6.302-1, and all businesses may respond. Quotes are due in to the contract specialist no later than 09 Apr 02, 3:00 P.M. Ordering Solicitation: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Division?s Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be avai lable for download from this web site. Requests for copies of this solicitation in any other format than what is advertised will be disregarded. It is important that you first go to this web site and under contract division home page, click on the advert ised solicitation you are interested in. Go to plan holders registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password, you can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However, you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. From there click on Sacram ento District, then it will take you to list of advertised solicitations and then from there click on the desired solicitation number. And at the bottom of this page, there is a bar that says download/view solicitation files. Select p lans or specs from the drop down box and press go button. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on the file name and download. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. Please note that all contractors and potential contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database, effective 31 May 1998.
