Description

17. Combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item. DESCRIPTION AND ATTACHMENT(s): Provide one (1) 110 Ton Trane Liquid Chiller or equal for F E Warren AFB, WY. Faxed offers will be accepted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. Solicitation F48608-02-Q-0008 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. (FAR Clauses may be found by accessing WEB site at: farsite.hill.af.mil/ffar1.htm. NAICS Code is 42173. The solicitation is restricted to Small Business. Line Item 0001 is for a Trane Chiller model #RTAA110 or equal. Specifications include 110 Nominal Tons, 460 volt, 60 Hertz, 3 phase, Y Delta closed transition Starter, aluminum fins, UL/CUL Listing, deluxe with communication-generic BAS App., factory coil protection, neoprene isolators control power transformer, single point power connection, vapor flow switch 150 psi. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offer(s)--Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (See attachments 1 and 2), apply to this acquisition. A completed, signed copy to this provision FAR 52.212-3 shall be submitted with any offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
