- Vandenberg Air Force Base Vendor Day April 18th, 2002 (7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) Pacific Coast Club, Vandenberg AFB, California. This is Vandenberg's Annual Vendor Day conducted under the Air Force Small Business Outreach Program. Although this event is primarily conducted for the benefit of Small Business, all businesses and those thinking about becoming one are encouraged to attend. This will be an opportunity to come out for the day and meet with Government Representatives and other Businesses. Training seminars on important topics will be conducted. A variety of speakers from Government and Industry are planned. Representatives from the Small Business Administration, Vandenberg Small Business Office and from other military installations, Santa Barbara Economic Development, The Small Business Development Center, Vandenberg Acquisition, Senior Core of Retired Executives, Small Business Owners (having done or currently doing business with Government), some Large Businesses (who subcontract to small business), the National Contract Management Association, and other agencies will be participating in this event. Information will be provided on current and future contracts at Vandenberg and on other initiatives being planned. Government Purchase Cardholders and other like individuals will be invited to visit with Industry to see what is currently available on the market. Programs for the benefit of Small Business and areas of interest that concern economic development on the Central Coast will be discussed. This promises to be a day of learning, of fostering collaboration, and an opportunity to meet new people. Your point of contract is Mr. Jerry C.
