- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. The NAICS is 33612 and the business size standard is $5.0 million. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F4LG4020580100. The 12th Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB, TX, intends to award the purchase order for a Lavatory Truck on date required by the government. The contractor shall furnish all labor, personnel, equipment, supervision and other equipment necessary to complete the following requirement: 1. Lavatory Service Truck, Model # TLS-770A, mounted on a Ford F-350 Chassis, . 2. V-10. 3. Dual Rear Wheels. 4. Automatic Transmission. 5. Power steering 6. Flush system with 260 Gal Capacity. 7. Waste System with 400 Gal Capacity. 8. Personnel platform lift. 9. Proximity Switch. 10. Rotating Amber Light. 11. Transportation/Freight to Randolph Air Force Base TX. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. A firm-fixed price award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the quote that provides the best value to the government. Interested parties capable of providing the above must submit a written price quote to include discount terms. All responses will be considered. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. Responses to this notice shall be provided in writing via e-mail to TSGT Aubrey Lewis @t Aubrey.Lewis@randolph.af.mil no later than 27 April 2002 at 4:00 P.M. (CST).
