Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for quotes, a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-02-T-0154 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is issued on a 100 percent small-business set aside basis. SIC Code 3621, NAICS 333923. The Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Georgia requires one (1) remanufactured Auxiliary Hoist Westinghouse DC Motor. 100 HP, 420 RPM, 230 VDC Series wound field, MC-612 Frame, TENV 1/2 Hour Duty. Motor to be manufactured from a requalified cast iron frame. All electrical components, coils, complete armature, brushes, springs, seals, hardware, cable, terminals, etc to be supplied new. Motor to be warranted same as new for a period of one (1) year after date of sale. This is a replacement part. The motor is for a Navy floating crane YD-245. The motor will be delivered to XFLSC Norfolk, Norfolk, VA 23511.
