- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to extend, for the period of two years, a BOA with the Northrop Grumman, Logistics Technology Center to contract for modification of the F-14 training systems for aircraft changes, trainer repairs, enhancement of trainers to prevent obsolescence and/or increase capabilities, software updates, trainer documentation updates to provide initial cadre training and develop interactive courseware. NGC is the sole designer and manufacturer for both the aircraft and the maintenance trainers and currently installs modifications in the aircraft and aircrew and maintenance trainers. This Contractor is the only known source which possesses the required expertise and knowledge to accomplish these efforts.
