- Description
- M-Maintenance of Government Owned Aircraft utilizing a Government Furnished Aircraft Hanger located in Anchorage, AK. The US Department of the Interior (DOI) intends to use competitive sources techniques to determine the most cost effective approach to maintaining a fleet of DOI owned aircraft. The analysis, in accordance with Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76, will compete the existing Governement employee aircraft mechanic workforce against contractor proposed workforce. This workforce is used to supplement maintenance currently obtained from private contractors throughout the State of Alaska in maintaining a fleet of 53 single engine aircraft. The contractor will be required to furnish a mimimum of 3 full time equivalent mechanics to provide aircraft maintenance in Anchorage.
