- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Far Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This procurement will be set aside for 100% small business. The SIC Code is 7622 and the NAICS code is 811213. Proposals are required not later than date on/or about 10 Apr 2002. FOB Destination and acceptance by the GOvernment at completion of performance. Description to include the following: Expand/Upgrade to current Giant Voice - Operation Noble Eagle. Item #0200 -Remove 6 ea existing sirens from metal poles. Dispose of existing metal poles. Install 6 ea new 60 foot, medium brown concrete poles with the exact specifications and diagram. These can be faxed upon request. Reinstall 6 ea existing sirens on new poles. Item #0201 - Install 2 ea WPS4000- 4 sirens on 2 new concrete poles with same specifications as those in tiem #0200. Reinstall 6 ea existing sirens on newly installed concrete poles. Item #0202 - 1 ea - Install two way E2010 encoder and computer interface. Item #0203- 1 ea Install and configure computer files containing pre-recorded messages and processed music files along with command structure to all for activitation. All work is IAW statement of work which can be faxed upon request. Suggested Source: American Communications
