- Description
- The Department of State, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization in conjunction with the Office of Logistics Management, Acquisition Office will host its 9th Annual Small Business Exposition at the Department of State, Main Exhibit Hall, Washington, DC. This event will feature firms that sell common usage good and services typically purchased via GSA Schedule or using the Government SMARTPAY Card. Examples include office furnishings, ergonomically and environmentally friendly products, and other commercial items used in managing a government office or facility. The Department of State seeks to target small businesses in industries that comprised a large dollar volume on GSA schedule and SMARTPAY purchases during FY01. Those industries include: computer software stores, administrative management, consulting and temporary help services, office furniture and furnishings, office supplies, electrical parts, bookstores, security system services, etc. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. The Department of State exhibit hall can accommodate approximately 40-45 exhibitors. Please note: This is not an IT Expo and is for Small Businesses Only.
