Defense Energy Support Center issued Solicitation SP0600-02-R-0053 on or about 14 March 2002 for the following requirements: Diesel Fuel #2 (DL2) (13) (3 items: 4,606,118 gallons); Fuel Oil, Burner #2 (FS2) (46) (33 items: 73,042,642 gallons); Fuel Oil, Burner #4 (FS4) (52) (1 item: 1,500,000 gallons); Fuel Oil, Burner #5 (Light) (FL5) (53) (1 item: 18,000,000 gallons); Fuel Oil, Burner #6 (FS6) (55) (3 items: 22,910,000 gallons); Diesel Fuel, Grade Low Sulfur No 2-D (LS2) (68) (1 item: 1,500,000 gallons); Diesel Fuel, Grade No 2-D (Red Dye) (HS2) (70) (1 item: 1,200,000 gallons);and Diesel Fuel, Grade Low Sulfur No 2-D (Red Dye) (LSS) (94) (2 items: 10,500,000 gallons). Total Items: 45. Total Gallons: 133,258,760. Delivery Period: 01 August 2002 through 31 July 2005. Amendment one was posted on the DESC website (www.desc.dla.mil) on Friday March 22, 2002. That amendment contained additional specification clauses, corrections, additions/deletions and the State Listing of Quantities and Base Reference Price listing.
