- Description
- The Virginia Contracting Activity on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) intends to award a sole source contract to Sytex, Inc. The award will be made to obtain Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on Adversarial Denial and Deception (AD&D) for the Joint Military Intelligence Training Center (JMITC). The Agency plans to develop an on-line version of the Adversarial Deception Analysis Course (ADAC) to be hosted on the Virtual University. The SME will work with course developers from the Virtual University to convert and refine the existing course material into a standard lesson plan format for on-line training. Developing course materials from instructor?s notes, supplement existing course material or develop new material with other information, and provide in specified format to JMITC for Government staff and other contract support to include in Joint Intelligence Virtual University distance learning media. All interested parties have 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit their qualifications/capabilities. All responses should reference PR 240/0034Z/02. Small Businesses are encouraged to submit their qualifications/capabilities. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice MUST show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Vendors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to conduct business with this government organization. A determination by the Virginia Contracting Activity not to compete this proposed procurement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Virginia Contracting Activity.
