- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ document and contract incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-05 (7 Mar 02). This is a sole source requirement being pursued with Tribune Media Services, Inc. The requirement is for an Oncable Passive Program license for two sites (AFRTS-BC and AFN-Europe) and Annual License for Web Guide. There are a total of six (6) contract line items, two line items covering a one-year period, as follows: Base Period-Item 0001; Quantity/Unit-1 EA; Description-License-For the Oncable Passive Guide Program at AFRTS-BC and AFN-Europe. Base Period-Item 0002, Quantity/Unit-1 EA; Description- Annual License for Web Guide. First Option Period-Item 0003; Quantity/Unit-1 EA; Description-License-For the Oncable Passive Guide Program at AFRTS-BC and AFN-Europe. First Option Period-Period-Item 0004, Quantity/Unit-1 EA; Description- Annual License for Web Guide. Second Option Period-Item 0005; Quantity/Unit-1 EA; Description-License-For the Oncable Passive Guide Program at AFRTS-BC and AFN-Europe. Second Option Period-Item 0006, Quantity/Unit-1 EA; Description- Annual License for Web Guide. The performance period for the base year will be 1 Apr 02 through 31 Mar 02; each option, if exercised, will cover the same timeframe, 1 Apr XX through 31 Mar XX. Delivery location: AFRTS-BC-DOE, 1363 Z Street, Building 2730, March ARB, CA 29518. Fill-in information for 52.212-2 "Award will be based upon a proposal that meeting all the terms and conditions of the solicitation, together with a determination by the Contracting Officer that the price is considered fair and reasonable and that the offeror is responsible within the meaning of governing regulations." Fill-in information for 52.217-9: paragraph a "15 days (the period of time within which the Contracting Officer may exercise the option)"; paragraph c-"The total duration of the contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 36 months."
