- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-02-Q-0130 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-4 and DCN 20020129. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333314 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN: 0001 - a quantity of 20 each 10X Mark 4 M1 Scope P/N; 48431. CLIN: 0002 a quantity of 20 each P/N: 50541 16X Mark 4 M1 Scope. Additional description: 30mm tub e diameter aluminum body with ? minute of angle windage and elevation adjustments. 40MM objective lens diameter. Matte black finish. Screw on Sun Shade and flip-open Butler Creek Lens covers included. Etched glass ? minute of angle dot reticle with 1 miliradian spacing. Multicoated optical surfaces. This is a sole source to Leupold and Stevens, 1440 N>W> Greenbrier Parkway, Beaverton, OR. 97006. Leupold is the only known source for a scope that meets the governments requirements. Delivery will be 30 days after award of the purchase order. Deliver will be FOB Crane, In. Final Acceptance will be NAVSURFWARCENDIV, Crane, In. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. DFAR 252.223-7002: DFAR 252.223-7003. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
