- Description
- The contractor shall provide all services necessary to perform Cultural Resource Surveys (archaeological surveys) of 15,820 acres on 51 parcels in Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille Counties, Spokane District, Washington. Cultural resource inventories are required to partially fulfill the Bureau of Land Management's responsibility to identify and consider effects of future management actions on historic properties in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, as amended. Inventories shall be conducted in accordance with BLM Class III standards (BLM Manual 8100), include 100% coverage of the parcels with systematic pedestrian transects, and will likely encounter sites associated with mineral exploration, development and extraction activities, logging, ranching, and Native American re -- click under Additional Information to view complete announcement text
