Description

Any questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to: Teresa Fullerton-Thormar at teresa.m.fullerton-thormar@ usace.army.mil. The Seattle District is soliciting proposals for Miscellaneous Environmental Resource Studies dealing with environmental resources and problems in Washington, Northern Idaho, and Western Montana or for military studies throughout the North west. This includes site-specific resource field examinations, field sampling, monitoring, and data analysis; environmental planning and impact assessment; and multimedia environmental compliance assessment and follow-up. The purpose is to augment Distri ct expertise with technical and logistical support including intern and entry level technical aid in all disciplines; execution of established field and laboratory sampling and data collection protocols; logistical support for field studies; literature sea rches; telephone inquiries; basic drafting, development of visual aids and photography. Proposed procurement will result in a firm fixed price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/ID) contract including a base year plus one option year; the maximu m ordering amount shall not exceed $400,000 per year or a total of $800,000 over the life of the contract. This requirement is open to both large and small business concerns. If you are a Large Business and your proposal will equal or exceed $500,000 you will be required to submit a Subcontracting Plan. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541690 and the Standard Industry Classification Code (SIC) is 8999 with size standard of $5 million. This solicitation will be issued as a n Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic format only. No disks will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification about amendments. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 4 April 2002.
