Description

NA POC: Sei Leung, Electronics Engineers, (732) 532-9855 or Jaan Pullerits, Electronics Engineers, (732) 532-6049. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for (1) Spare acquisition and (2) Overhaul and Repair (O&R) Services of the Communication and Power Industry (CPI) Traveling Wave Tube (TWT), P/N VTR-5720, NSN 5960-01-270-3938, P/O AN/TPQ-37. (1) For Spare Item Purchase: The effort includes to produce, test to meet the item requirements and deliver each item to the Army per purchase order. And, (2) Overhaul and Repair (O&R) Services: The effort includes repair and overhaul and return of the repaired item to the US Army Depot or to the field. The current source is Communication and Power Industry (CPI). Detailed Technical Data, Drawings and Repair documentation are not available from the Army. Potential suppliers capable of providing this spare item and overhaul and repair services as a package must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-C-CF, Building 1201E, Ft. Monmout h, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as supplier of this item and test results, Depot Maintenance Repair procedures, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor/subcontractor for these items and services or a statement fro m listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, successfully provide this item and overhaul and repair services. Successful supplier(s) may be required to warrant that the items supplied under this item and services will satisfactorily perfor m when used for the purpose intended.
