- Description
- A/E to prepare all contract documents, plans and specifications for correction of various life safety deficiencies to include doors, sidewalks, dampers, sprinklers, railings, etc. Project # 632-01-121. A/E required to have a Safety Engineer to assure compliance with the latest NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, Architect Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, etc. Design will include various areas of correction throughout the Medical Center with bid alternates. Design must be completed by July 1, 2002. A/E firms are required to sumbit Forms 254 and 255 to Karen Diehl, Acquisition Coordinator (OOBSC), VA Medical Center, Bldg. 10, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768 by COB 4/19/2002. A/E office must be located within a 25 mile radius of Northport, NY. NAICS is 541310 and 541330. This is a 100% small business set- aside. The estimated construction is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Award will be subject to the availabilty of funds. This is not a RFP.
