Description
The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention/Agency for Toxic Substance & Drug Registry intends to solicit a quotation for existing commercial-off-the-shelf FLUOR-CHEM 8800 ADVANCED FLUORESCENCE, CHEMILUMINESCENCE & VISIBLE IMAGING SYSTEM Model IS-8800-110 1.34 million pixel resolution cooled SHCCD camera for image acquisition from Alpha Innotech Corp, 14743 Catalina St., San Leandro, CA 94577 on a Sole Source basis. However all responsive sources that can meet the requirements listed herein may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency. Features include 1,300(v) x 1030(h) megapixel resolution, 2/3" format 6.7x6.7 micron deep well capacity pixels, greater than 70db signal to noise, 30 frames per second, 16-bit for image, 16-bit data acquisition with 16-bit file archiving, 1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 8x8 pixel binning CCD architechture capabilities. Maximum full well capacity 200,000 electrons with anti-blooming architechture design. Peltier cooled camera by -45 degrees C. 0.01 electrons/pixel/second dark current noise. Customized electronics to minimize camera electronic noise. Scientific Grade 0 CCD sensor. 16-bit, 0 -65m536 grayscale dynamic range. High quantum efficiency (55%) at 425nm. A/R (Anti-Reflective /coatings) on optical & CCD components. 1/30 sec to 5940 mins exposure control on-chip, 4950 hrs w/frame stacking. Less than 5% intensity variation (vignetting) across field of view of CCD sensor. Automatic darkfield and bias correction noise reduction process post image acquisition (Can be overridden by user if desired to use raw camera acquisition data). Multi-channel image display,RGB multiple colors can be displayed at same time with image overlay. Capable of 16-bit grayscale or 48 bit color image acquisition w/color filter kit. Automatically reverse the image, auto contrast and gamma correction level to 2.5 f/chemiluminescence sample image acquisition. Option to automatically scale black & white values of an image based on intensity of image profile. Allows image build-up at real time setting using image stacking feature. Fast Optics, Interference filters for fluorescence, colorimetic & chemiluminescence. Lifetime software upgrades, access to on-line tech support, installation & application workshops. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized and a quotation will be solicited on or about 04/05/2002. Other than Full & Open competition is authorized pursuant to 41 U.S.C.(c)(1). Qualified vendors have 15 days from date of this synopsis to submit capability statements delineating their ability to provide this product. . If providing an FOB - Origin - estimate shipping charges. This is an all or none requirement. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLITICTATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The following provision(s) apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (MAR 2000) applies to this acquisition; 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (JAN 1999); the evaluation criteria stated in paragraph (a) of this provision are as follows: (1) technical capability of the proposed system to meet the requirements stated herein, and (2) price. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms & Conditions - Commercial Items (MAY 1999) applies to this acquisition. The following FAR Clauses are hereby added to this clause: The clause at 52.212-5 - Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following clauses listed in paragraph (b) of 52.212-5 apply to this acquisition: (1), (3), (5), (7), (9), (11), (12), (14), (15), (17), (18), (20) and (24).
