Description

The principal feature of this project shall include but not limited to replacing transformers, circuit breakers and terminal connections, and the installation of manholes, handholes, electrical lines and ductlines, underground conduits, etc. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The estimated range of the acquisition is between $5,000 (guaranteed minimum) and $5,000,000 per contract period of one year. The guaranteed minimum applies only to the basic year. The basic year performance is on or about 1 June 2002 (or date of award whichever is later) through 31 May 2003, with four (4) 12-month option periods to be executed at the government's option. Solicitation will only be available on the Internet at the following address: http://www.eps.gov, on or about 19 Mar 02. The site of work contemplated under this project is Hickam AFB and Bellows AFS, Hawaii. This project is set aside for 8(a) firms registered under construction NAICS code 235310. In addition, it has been determined that competition will be geographically limited to those 8(a) firms certified for participation in the 8(a) Program who are serviced by the Hawaii District Office. Note that 8(a) firms not serviced by Hawaii District Office but who have a Verifiable office and employees located within the geographical area served by the Hawaii District Office at the time of this CBD announcement are also eligible to submit offers. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program in order to receive a contract awarded from any Department of Defense activity.
